- Account & contact details: full name, email address, and phone number, collected when you create an account or book a job.
- Booking details: service type, scheduled date and time, pickup and drop-off addresses, job notes, and number of specialists requested.
- Payment information: processed securely through our payment provider (Square). We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Communications: messages you send to specialists or our support team, and reviews you submit after a completed job.
- Operator data: for specialists, we collect government-issued identification, a signed contractor agreement, background-check consent, and availability schedules.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To match customers with available, vetted moving labour specialists and schedule jobs.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and review requests by email and text message.
- To process payments and issue invoices and payouts.
- To verify operator identity and maintain service and safety standards.

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share details only as needed to operate the marketplace: matched specialists receive your pickup address, job details, and contact information so they can perform the job. Our payment processor (Square) receives the data required to authorize and settle your payment. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
5. Released Value Coverage
Every YCML job is covered at the standard $0.60 per pound per article released value protection, the industry standard for moving. YCML specialists do not carry liability insurance. Additional valuation options may be introduced in the future.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and booking records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. Operator verification documents are retained for the duration of the contractor relationship and as required by law.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You can manage notifications and upcoming bookings from your customer dashboard. Operators may update their profile, availability, and service offerings at any time.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. Operators must be at least 18 years of age.
